I bought Christel Krukkerts pattern books in the discount bookshop and just love the patterns, wish I had more time so I would be able to finish them faster. Anyhow, here is the polar bear I recently finished.

Gauntlets part three
A workfriend (she's a tad more meaningful then just 'colleague') asked me if I could make the gauntlets black-red as well. Since I already planned that, I could start them off almost immediately. This is the result...
Gauntlets part two

Gauntlets
I was ill and my creativity kind of died on me, but I knew I needed to make something, anything to help me back on my feet, so ended up making gauntlets, easy to make and hardly any counting needed...

Crown
It's Raoul's birthday on Sunday, that deserves a crown. I decided to give it a crochet try, on the pic Laura is showing it off. Will need to make a bigger one for my big headed toddler, hope it'll turn out better than this one!

Gift basket
It was my sisters birthday and she didn't want anything for the occasion, however, she's still my sister and I cannot let her birthday pass by unnoticed.
By coincidence I happen to know that she adores the scent of "le petit marseillais" (I do too as a matter of fact), so I decided to make her a gift basket with shower gels, a piece of soap, handcreme and bodylotion, as a finishing touch I added a sponge and a washpuff.
The basket I made of zpaghetti and a 10mm crochet hook. I also worked in continuous rounds.
The pattern is rather simple;
The only stiches used are single crochet ones (sc)
Round 1. 6sc in magic ring
Round 2. 2sc in each sc around (12sc)
Round 3. 2sc in each 2nd sc around (18sc)
Round 4. 2sc in each 3rd sc around (24 sc)
Round 5. 2sc in each 4th sc around (30 sc)
Round 6. 2sc in each 5th sc around (36 sc)
Round 7. 2sc in each 6th sc around (42 sc)
Round 8. 2sc in each 7th sc around (48 sc)
Round 9. 2sc in each 8th sc around (54 sc)
Round 10. 2sc in each 9th sc around (60 sc)
Round 11 to round 17. Sc in each sc around (60 sc)
Round 18. Sc, ch 5, skip 2 sc, sc in next sc, ch 5, skip 2, sc in next sc around, finish off and weave in ends.
You can use a contrasting colour in one of the rounds, or add a flower, plenty of possibilities and it takes about as much time to make as it does to leave the house and go looking for a suiting basket.

Raoul's soother cuddle
Raoul kept on stealing Laura's soothers, I guessed it was because hers have a cuddle on them, so I decided to make him one for himself. A granny square, the first I ever made as a matter of fact and a panda head attached to it. I needed it quickly and didn't feel like looking for a pattern, so tried something out of the blue. Not really what I had in mind, but the wee monkey is happy with it. And that's what matters, toddlers aren't always as easy to please as one would wish...

Laura's sunny hat - free pattern
zaterdag 22 juni 2013
Laura's sunny hat
I figured since the sun came out, Laura deserved a sunny hat. Since she is too young to chose what to wear, I get a blank canvas with her, which makes me extremely happy ^^
Whilst watching tele, I whipped this one up, without any pattern it took me one skein and approximately three hours. Getting the flower button on the right hight took me quite some time though ;p
I'll count the rounds and write out the pattern and give it a retry before posting it.

Laura's vest
On the first day of revalidation after my galbladder and liver surgeory, I made this wee vest for my baby girl.
I adapted the pattern from the link below for it.
